Terms of service
These terms govern your use of ViaGates Holidays and any booking you make through us.
Last updated 1 March 2026
1. Our role
ViaGates Holidays is a travel agent and price comparison service. We search inventory from airlines, hotels, wholesalers and car rental suppliers and arrange bookings on your behalf. The travel service itself is delivered by that provider under its own conditions of carriage or accommodation terms.
2. Prices and total price display
Prices shown include taxes, mandatory fees and our service charge for the travellers and dates searched. Optional extras such as baggage, seats, meals, insurance or transfers are priced separately and clearly labelled.
Prices come from live provider inventory and can change until the booking is confirmed. If a price changes before confirmation, we will show you the new total and ask you to approve it.
Currency conversion is provided for convenience. Your card issuer may apply its own rate and fees.
3. Booking and payment
Your booking is confirmed only when we issue a booking reference and the provider confirms it. Names must match the passport or ID used for travel; providers may refuse carriage or check-in for mismatches, and correction fees may apply.
You are responsible for passports, visas, transit permits, health requirements and driving licences. We can advise, but requirements are yours to meet.
4. Changes and cancellations
Each fare or rate carries its own rules, shown before payment and stored with your booking. Where a change or refund is permitted, provider penalties plus our handling fee apply. Non-refundable rates remain non-refundable.
5. Liability
We are liable for the reasonable care of arranging your booking. We are not liable for provider acts or omissions, schedule changes, denied boarding, overbooking by a property, weather, strikes or other events beyond our control, except where the law says otherwise.
6. Conduct and account use
Do not scrape, resell or automate access to our inventory, and do not make speculative or fraudulent bookings. We may cancel bookings and close accounts that breach these terms.
7. Complaints and applicable law
Contact support first so we can resolve the issue with the provider. If unresolved, the applicable consumer law of your country of residence continues to apply.
These terms are a working draft prepared for the ViaGates preview and must be reviewed by legal counsel, with your registered company details, licence numbers and governing law added before you sell travel.
